Opening Day – Saturday 6 October

Come along with your family and friends to have fun and celebrate the 2018/19 Season Opening.

Get into the spirit and dress your boat and yourselves to the theme of Legends of the Sea.

Fun and entertainment starts in the Paddock from 11:00am with Haley White on the stage, Myuna Farm petting animals, jumping castle and inflatable obstacle course.

Following the Sail Past, there will be kids entertainment in the Olympic Room, the Peter Chapman Band on the Northern Podium and then from 19:00 in the Port Phillip Room, dance the night away with Andy Healey and the Higher Functions.

Sail Past Instructions

 

Kingfisher

We have again secured the magnificent Kingfisher II for Members’ and invited guests to enjoy the Sail Past.

Bookings are now open by calling, 9599 0999.

Bookings are strictly limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis and ticket limits apply.

 

MERCEDES-BENZ BRIGHTON COURTESY BUS

Our great friends at Mercedes-Benz Brighton have kindly offered us their Courtesy Bus to transport Members and guests to both Highett and Sandringham Stations.

Operating from 17:30 – 23:00 from outside SYC front doors of the main clubhouse, it will run approximately on the half hour.

Please note, the bus is on a strict route between SYC and the two stations and will not be dropping at individual homes / pitstops or extra special requests outide of these routes.

Please do not pressure the driver.
