The Member’s Lounge is situated on the first floor of the Clubhouse adjoining the Member’s Bar & Bistro.
It operates as a Lounge during the day where Members can simply pop in. An open fire, water views and a relaxed atmosphere are some of the nice features. The Lounge may be booked for private events of an evening time (from 6pm) for group sizes of between 40-60 and can be done via our events team 9599 0999.
The Lounge is accessible whenever the Clubhouse is open.

Many of you will have noticed the wonderful collection of books and magazines located in the Members Lounge.
Did you know, however, that SYC members are able to borrow these resources for up to a month?
If you would like to borrow one of the books, please take it to the Guest Relations desk in the foyer during office hours and the staff there will check the book out to you. Please return books to Guest Relations when you have finished with it (within one month) and they will check it back in. This enables us to keep track of these valuable resources and ensure that all members are able to access these as required. Please note that items of significant historic importance, charts and navigation books cannot be borrowed but may be viewed in the Lounge area.
