Wednesday Wonders Winter Series 2019 Race 27 – Great End to the Series

A fleet of 35 yachts took part in the last race of the longest series of recent times. The fleet included 4 casual entries with RUM JUNGLE (Matthew Weston) sailing her first WW race of the winter. The race itself was also the longest in recent times and held on the warmest afternoon of the series. Being the long 9 leg, 11.7 nautical mile course 42 it offered great value for money. Thirty three yachts completed the entire course in an average time of about 140 minutes helped by a northerly breeze that averaged about 16 knots for the afternoon.
