EVOKE YOUR PALATE….
Get away with your fellow members for a memorable Winter Winery Bus escape to Oakdene Vineyards on the Bellarine Peninsula. Your sensory evaluation will be educated and honed as you are treated to a wine tasting in the Upside-Down House Cellar Door and if the weather permits, a tour of the beautiful property on the Oakdene Express. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Vineyard’s restaurant, Marty @ Oakdene and sip wines in the divine surrounds. All of this while enjoying each other’s company on this delightful adventure!
Date: Saturday 13 May 2017
Cost: $75 per person (includes transport, tour, tasting and lunch)
The day’s schedule (approx.):
- 9:00am ~ the fun bus leaves SYC
- 11:15am ~ arrive at Oakdene Vineyards and partake in a private tour and tasting
- 12:15pm ~ lunch (Charcuterie & Dip Plate to share, choice of two main meals, a glass of wine* and tea or coffee)
After lunch wander the gardens and enjoy more wine in the restaurant*
- 3:00pm ~ return to SYC (arrival 4:30/5:00pm)
