Hi Members
Hope everyone is doing well. The further easing of restrictions are another step in a positive direction for our Club and it’s Members. Here is the latest as it relates to SYC;
- Recreational Boating & Competitive Sailing Update
- All recreational boating and training is now back on for all Members without geographical or time restrictions.
- Competitive sailing is back in line with our winter Keel and OTB calendars.
- Boat Yard & Boat Storage Areas – The Boat Yard, Launch Ramp, Marina, Hardstand and Off the Beach Areas are all fully open to authorised Members.
- The Clubhouse continues to trade 7 days per week for lunch (from 11:30am) and dinner (from 5:30pm). Under the new 2sqm rule we can accommodate 265 Members and their guests in the Bar, Lounge and Harbour View in any one sitting. So that’s great news. You can also now enjoy a beer at the bar. Bookings are still strongly encouraged as it helps us with rostering….please call the friendly reception team on 9599 0999. The food offer is now the regular Bar menu with daily and blackboard specials. View the menus here. Please be friendly to our covid check-in marshall when prompted.
- Private Dining in the Olympic Room and Harbour View Restaurant can now be booked via our events team, 9599 0940 or [email protected]. View the menu.
- Reception is open daily from 10am – 6:00pm.
- Ken King Centre – Trading on race days; Wednesdays 10am – 1:30pm, Saturday 8am – 1pm and Sunday 8am – 11am.
Please remember it’s mandatory if coming down to SYC that you check in via one of the many QR codes we have on display throughout the club. All of the normal COVID-19 requirements apply whilst onsite – social distancing, wearing a face covering whilst inside or outside if you can’t distance, as well as practising good hygiene.
