SYC says thank you to Members with Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows
On behalf of Commodore Ashley Trebilcock and the SYC General Committee, we are pleased and proud to advise you that on the 19 October, Australian Sailing awarded SYC the 2018 Australian Yacht Club of the Year. Congratulations to all SYC Members and stakeholders.
In recognition of this prestigious award, SYC would like to thank all of its Members so we’ve booked Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows to entertain you.
**TICKET UPDATE at friday 9 november**:
Dear Members,
The response to the Joe Camilleri Member thank you event on 21 December has been simply overwhelming and this event will sell out at some stage today. Thank you to all of the Members who have expressed their gratitude.
Due to the take up however we will have very few tickets remaining for the 5pm allocation tonight.
For all of the Members who were able to acquire tickets we hope you have a great night.
To those that will miss out we apologise – our Port Phillip Room simply can’t accommodate more than 450 Members (standing).
If you did miss out, please still put your name on the waitlist. Some Members who have tickets may pull out and these will be allocated sequentially to the waitlist.

| Tickets: | This is a ticketed SYC Member event. – Tickets will be available for Senior Members (2 tickets per Senior) from 5pm Fri 2 November at SYC Reception – Tickets for all other annual Members* (1 ticket per member) available from 5pm Fri 9 November at SYC Reception |
| Cost: | $5 per ticket which includes 1 drink voucher on arrival for a house beverage |
| Capacity: | Tickets will be issued on first come first served basis…until sold out. |
| Happy Hours: | Will be available in the bar from 6 – 7pm. |
| Dinner: | Eat in the bar from 6pm or book a table in the restaurant – but get your booking in early as it will book out. |

So if you take a ticket and something prevents you from attending, please let us know so we can re-issue your ticket. *For clarity, tickets are not available to junior members (under 18), day pass or season pass holders.
