SYC Boat Yard to re-open for outdoor works

Wednesday, 2nd June 2021

CORRESPONDENCE TO SYC Tenants and Contractors via email on Wednesday 2 June

Hi All,

Based on the Acting Premiers announcement today, the SYC boat yard can re-open from this Friday 4 June along the following lines;

  • For repairs and maintenance works conducted outdoors
  • For works undertaken by a professional contractor only (not recreational private boat owners)
  • For businesses with an ABN, where physical distancing can be maintained
  • Permitted for up to 5 people plus a supervisor (on any one boat)

New QR Code

We have recently switched all QR codes at the club to the Government QR code. The new boat yard QR code can be seen here. It will be on display in the boat yard but this is a copy you can print and keep with you for ease of scanning. I request that each and every one of you scan this on any occasion you will be in the boat yard. Previously some of you were providing Karen with rosters – this no longer needs to happen and is no longer a substitute for scanning the QR code. No doubt you are meeting your own obligations within your tenancies in this regard.

We hope to see you all back at the Club from Friday – and if you are looking for a hot coffee or bit of hot food, Ken King will be open daily from 9am-4pm.

Warm Regards & Stay Safe,

Richard Hewett
