Fishing Competition Report

Thanks to all those who supported the 2025 annual Fishing Competition. After having to postpone our original attempt due to ferocious weather, two weeks later we enjoyed a window of opportunity on Saturday.

The Wayne Read Trophy and a Compleat Angler Voucher were awarded to Gary Axton with a 5.92kg specimen. Close behind was Joe Gulino with 4.79kg. Michael Simon presented three good fish for best combined catch.

Thank you to the input of committee members Bruce Saunders and Peter Hickey who organised and ran the event together with the boating office. A special thanks to Stewart, Fiona and the team at RMarine Jacksons for their longstanding support.
