The International Cadet Class of Victoria, hosted by the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, conducted a sprint racing series over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of December. Race wins went to Sandringham’s Tilly Davis/Will Shepard (2nd Place Overall), Jessica Butters/Felix Duell (5th) and Zoe Rae/Mischa Suda (8th). Also proudly representing Sandringham Yacht Club were Phillip George/Will Cohan finished in 11th place with Eliza Davis/Emma Suda (17th) and Aaron George/Rohan Subbuarayala (26th).
The Victorian Tillett Team selection was held over multiple weekends with racing hosted by RYCV/WSC (Lipton Cup) and RGYC (RGYC Sprint Series). Aggregate results for the combination of Tilly Davis and Will Shepard resulted in placing first overall with Tilly accepting the Victorian Cadet Team Captaincy for the Australian International Cadet Class Championship to be hosted by Largs Bay Sailing Club, South Australia from the 11-19th of January, 2017 .
