Overview & Schedule: The “Beyond the Bay” program is a series of educational evening sessions, supervised weekend on-water events and mentoring support, providing participants with the opportunity, knowledge and support needed to travel beyond Port Philip Bay (or beyond any inland waterway for that matter). We know a lot of boat owners have extremely capable boats, as well as the dream of cruising the Australian Coast. There also many people who do not own a boat but would love to crew on such a journey. We think it is usually a combination of the lack of opportunity, the lack of knowledge and the lack of confidence which holds them back. The Ocean Racing Club of Victoria has the skills, the experience and the opportunity to meet those needs. And who knows, you may just like it enough to come Ocean Racing! Places strictly limited.
