With only two races remaining in the series securing a place in the aggregate top ten is becoming more spirited. Following this race, only 15.5 points separate the aggregate top ten. This the closest margin in the last 8 weeks of racing. This week saw the early starters hold off the challenge of the faster yachts in the fleet to bring about changes to the aggregate. A relatively flat sea with a southerly breeze that averaged about 13 knots for the afternoon took 33 yachts around the 9.8 nautical mile course 24. Read more…
