Sandringham Yacht Club invites you to participate our 29er Training Squad.
Our 29er Training is designed to help sailors transition into the 29er class or to continue in their skills development and racing.
We would like to encourage all 29er sailors to join us in this program and help grow the class at SYC. There are no restrictions on age, sail size or ability, every sailor is welcome.
Squads will have a maximum of 6 boats per coach and are open to SYC members. You will need to own your own 29er to participate and we are happy to help point you in the right direction to trialling a 29er or purchasing your own boat if needed. Training Squads require a minimum of four boats to proceed. If we do not have the numbers to run we will contact you with alternative options.
REQUIREMENTS:

Completed enrolment for skipper and crew

A seaworthy boat, appropriate clothing & safety gear. Including sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, sailing shoes or boots and lifejacket.
- Appropriate boat insurance

A notebook & pen for onshore coaching, rules discussions etc.

A real desire to improve your sailing skills and have fun doing it!

IMPORTANT: Be rigged and ready by commencement time of each session.
