The 2018 Commodore’s Challenge is fast approaching with this year being the third time the event will be held. The Challenge will be sailed in a fleet racing format on Sunday 20 May with a back up day of Sunday 27 May in the unfortunate event where racing doesn’t go ahead on the 20 May. The Challenge will be open to Clubs around the bay who wish to enter their best team of five female members. All crew must be members of the Club submitting the entry. The boats used will be the Sandringham Yacht Club’s six identical Beneteau 7.5m boats.
What can you do now to get involved?
If you’re a Sandringham Yacht Club member and want to get involved, you can do one of two things:
- Complete an EOI as an individual and based on your skills, preferred position and other individual applications, you will be put together with other compatible individual applications. This can be done by clicking here. Or;
- Complete an EOI as a team. This can be done by clicking here.
If you’re not a Sandringham Yacht Club member and you’re keen to get a team in for your Club, get in contact with your respective Commodore and complete the entry form at the back of the Notice of Race and return this to [email protected] by 1700 hrs Wednesday 4 May.
