10 April 2024 – Construction Update
The stage 2 clubhouse works are underway and the builders are getting into things. The repair of our podium first requires the old tiles to be removed and its a lot noisier than we expected. So mid-week for the next 2 weeks we will be closed for lunch only on the following days;
- Thursday 11 April, Friday 12, Monday 15, Tuesday 16, Thursday 17 April, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 April. On these days we will open at 5pm for dinner service. Our evening trade will be completely unaffected as will lunches on weekends.
SYC is currently trading as per;
- Main Reception (Guest Relations) Open Mon – Sat 10am-5pm and Sun 10am-3pm
- Noting the construction update above, the Clubhouse normally trades 7 days per week with lunch from 12 Noon (Mon-Fri) and from 11.30am (Sat & Sun). Dinner will be from 5.30pm Mon – Sun. Closing times will be at the discretion of the Manager on Duty.
- On Public Holidays we close main reception and modify Clubhouse hours so please check each Public Holiday.
- Boating Office Open Wed-Sun (closed on Mon & Tue)
- Marina Office Open Mon – Fri 9am-5pm
- Boat Yard Open Mon – Sat 8am-4.30pm
- On-Water Activities: all as scheduled
- Hardstand, OTB, Launch Ramp and Marina: accessible to authorised members as per normal
- Ken King Centre will be open on race days
