The final race of the series produced yet another different winner – VINDALOO (John Taylor) the 18th in 20 races. The results show that she finished 6 minutes 28 seconds ahead of FIREFOX (Kim Beveridge & Howard Davis) in 2nd place. However, FIREFOX was one of 7 yachts to start too soon and receive a 5 minute penalty which inflated the winning margin. It was the first podium finish and best finish of the series for both these yachts. Joining them “on the podium” was LEBROK (Theo Korbel) who followed her win in race 23 with a 3rd place in this race. Read more…
