Forty five yachts took place in the third race of the winter series which is probably a record for any WW winter or summer series. It would be naive not to think the weather had something to do with the good participation. There was a succinct and accurate forecast by BOM –“Variable winds about 10 knots; seas below 0.5 metres and mostly sunny”.
