Wednesday Wonders Winter Series 2018 Race 14 – Just Too Much Breeze

“Great northerly winds, I got all my washing dry, disappointing about the sailing though”.

This was the first race of the series to be abandoned due to gale force winds. At Fawkner Beacon northerly winds averaged 29 knots for the afternoon with gusts in the late afternoon of more than 40 knots. These were the highest wind speeds recorded on a Wednesday afternoon so far this series.
