The largest fleet of the series so far (44 yachts) enjoyed a great afternoon sail around the 9.9 nautical mile course 14. All the yachts completed the course with a “clean sheet”. There were no penalties for failing to sign on; none for “jumping the start’; and, no protests. What was predominantly a south easterly breeze averaged about 8 knots for the afternoon allowing all the fleet to finish before 1730. It was a good day for the late starters with 9 of them among the first 15 yachts to across the finish line. Read more…
