DOLPHIN PLAY (John Brennan) led race 5 from start to finish and was never really challenged. She started 11 minutes 17 seconds before any other yacht and finished 1 minute 26 seconds ahead of her closest rival. A great result for a yacht that didn’t make the podium in the winter series. The wind speed averaged about 11 knots for the afternoon which was the lowest of the series so far. It was enough to take the 40 yacht fleet around the 9.8 nautical mile course 24 in what was the slowest race of the series.
