The second largest fleet of the summer, 44 yachts, assembled for the 21st race of the series. They had to wait an extra 30 minutes to start due to the light winds. However, the breeze did pick up and had doubled before the end of the race. It averaged about 9 knots for the afternoon at Fawkner Beacon and varied between a southerly and south, south westerly. All 44 yachts completed the race which took them around the 9.8 nautical mile course 12.
