This race was the debut of the 7 leg, 9.8 nautical mile Course 24. It runs in an anticlockwise direction and in a northerly breeze about 46% of the rhumb line length is sailed as a beat, 39% becomes a run whist the remainder is a reach. In a 21 knot northerly it was one of the faster races of the series that saw 29 yachts start and 28 yachts finish. It was a successful race for the Swarbrick 111 RAZZLE DAZZLE (Andrew Stopp). She recorded her first win of the series when she crossed the finish line at 15:36:43 making this the 3rd earliest finish of the series.
