For the third time in three races WW enjoyed an afternoon of excellent sailing weather. There was a pleasant northerly breeze that averaged about 13 knots for the afternoon, plenty of sunshine and flat seas. The race took the 37 yacht fleet around the 6 leg, 9.9 nautical mile course 26. In the northerly breeze 2 of the legs were running legs (about 46% of the rhumb line distance) with the remaining 4 legs to windward. All the 37 starters were able to complete what was the longest course of the series so far. Read more…
