Five SYC youth members are about to commence racing in the International Cadet Class World Championships this weekend in Krynica Morska, Poland. Racing for the World Championships officially starts on the 28 July and runs through until the 4 August. SYC has five sailors competing in the Cadet Worlds and Promotional regattas as follows:
- Thomas Johnston and Kylan Thompson
- Mischa Suda and Lillyanne Johnston
- Emma Suda crewing for Milli McDonald
The teams have been travelling over the last month and have now come together at the club ahead of the first day of racing for the Polish Nationals which start today (tonight AUS time).
We would like to wish all SYC members good luck for their upcoming regattas and we look forward to following their progress!
