SYC Tasars at the 57th annual Metung Easter Regatta

Six Tasars and many more crews took part in the 57th annual Metung Easter Regatta. The Tasars sailed over three days a variety of long and short courses on the tranquil waters of Gippsland Lakes.  It was a great opportunity to showcase the speed and versatility of the Tasar introducing the class to new Tasar owners Jon & Sarah Fearn and a number of parents and youngsters.

There was also time to squeeze in a morning bike ride on the country roads to Lakes Entrance and Bruthen.

Al & Tracey Murray took out the honours with Dave Elmslie & Phil Potter in second. Thanks to the many volunteers, in particular, MYC Commodore Mary Rose, and SYC Commodore Rob Davis, RO Phil Strong and Damien Daniel and many others for supporting the event.
