Well it’s official…SYC retains the SYC NavRally Cup for the second year in a row!!! A massive congratulations to David and Kate McCutcheon who in their beautiful boat, IV by VIII, claimed victory for the second year running!
Second place was awarded to Owen and Stuart Smart in Pookanah from the RVMYC – Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club who finished a close one point behind the McCutcheon’s. Fellow SYC members Philip Strong and Jon Evans in Seabird II finished up in third place.
SYC’s combined performance also saw the CUB Cup, which is awarded to the highest three placed teams from a club, returning to SYC! Congratulations to David and Kate in IV by VIII, Philip and Jon in Seabird II and Bill Stubbs and Mal Billings in Gillian who were the three highest placed boats from SYC.
A big thanks to our SYC Recreational Boating Committee for all of their efforts in helping make today’s events such a great success!
