One more day to go for the Hardy Cup here at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron! Pip Solly’s team (Pip Solly, Jeremy O’Connell, Bec Robson, Gemma Burns and Eliza Solly) were knocked out today to finish in 10th and Rhett Gowans and his team (Rhett Gowans, Hayden Brown, Greg Jackson, Tyrone Gowans and Jordan Sunkel-Lozell) will be racing off against three other teams tomorrow to determine places 5th-8th.
Definitely a steep learning curve up here in the Elliot 7’s but noticeable improvements as each race went by. Unfortunately the results just don’t quite reflect how well both teams have been sailing!
