Sunday 26 March is the SYC Cup NavRally where Sandringham Yacht Club invites all Clubs to compete for the coveted SYC Cup. Included in this event is the battle between SYC and RVMYC for the CUB Cup. RVMYC has taken the trophy home over the last few years and there is a passion swelling within the SYC participants to win it back this year.
Boats must nominate their boat speed from 5, 6, 7.5, 10 and 12 knots on entry and on the day proceed around the course at their nominated speed passing positions at specified times. Points are lost for being too early or too late at the various positions on the course. Again this year we will be using our TackTracker system to calculate the results!
