The SYC Cup and CUB Trophy was run on Sunday March 1 in great weather conditions (finally). Unfortunately there were software issues in the tracking devices that prevented a result being declared on the day. We can now announce that the results were:
First: Vixen (P Strong) – 15 points
Second : 4 by 8 (D & K McCutcheon) – 22 points
Third: Cavatina (B Matulick- Mordialloc Motor Club) – 24 points
We hope to formally congratulate the winners and present trophies later this year. It was a very enjoyable day with lunch in the Ken King Centre afterwards. The end result was close with the three place getters finishing within 10 seconds (ten points) of each other. Thanks to Dawn and Garry Cleaver, Peter and Cheryl Sutton and Bruce Saunders for the organisation of the event – along with Maddie Commins and Graeme Mills from the Boating Office.
