SYC Club Race Officer

Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC) is proud to introduce a SYC Club Race Officer accreditation. This accreditation adds a grass-roots level qualification for those looking to assist as a Race Officer (RO) at a Club level. The SYC Club Race Officer accreditation is offered in two options; a Tower Club RO and/or an On-Water RO.

The purpose of the Club Race Officer qualification is to provide SYC members with the opportunity to become qualified to participate in delivering keelboat and Off-the-Beach racing programs at Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC). This also acts as a stepping stone for those looking to work towards a higher level of qualification.

SYC has developed a Club Race Officer Accreditation Policy which will provide more information on the purpose, categories, qualification terms and accreditation requirements – the Accreditation Policy is available below.
