Congratulations to SYC member, Gill Stubbs, who was announced as the Club Person of the Year on Opening Day!
Gill joined the Club in 2008 and has been an active member in Recreational Boating events for many years.
Since joining, Gill has been involved in many facets of SYC including proof reading our annual Off The Wind magazine since 2017, volunteering for many of our regattas including Sail Sandy and the Laser Worlds, running the Friday Night Key Draw since 2017 and is the SYC Almoner and has been since 2019.
Gill is also a regular participant of ‘Church’ on Sunday’s and has an uncanny knack of remembering everyone’s birthday and giving fitting cards and gifts!
Congratulations Gill, and on behalf of all the SYC members, thanks for all you do for our great Club!
