Mild winter weather welcomed Sunday Sailors to race 4 of the series. A fleet of 24 yachts contested a race that had plenty of sunshine and a light northerly breeze that averaged about 8 knots with gusts up to 11 knots at Fawkner Beacon. The breeze tended to ease as the race progressed. What started as 6 leg 9.9 nautical mile race around course 26 was shortened to a 5 leg race finishing at SYC 1. Read More.
