A total of 19 yachts contested this race including three casual entries. Two of the casual entries, SALT WHISTLE (Alex Hall) and RAZORSEDGE, have already sailed in the series but this was the first race in Sunday Sailors for GISELLE (Robert Freeman). The race took the fleet around the 7 leg 8.2 nautical mile course 9 in great conditions. The breeze was from the south east for the start of the race and slowly moved further towards the south as the race progressed. The breeze averaged about 12 knots for the morning, seas remained relatively flat, and the clouds slowly disappeared providing great sailing conditions. Read more…
