What a beautiful day it turned out to be, for our Recreational Boating Fishing Competition. After postponing it on Sunday 23 October due to bad weather and rescheduling in for Sunday 20 November. With plenty on boat completion and weighing in at 11:00, we had Greg from South Stack taking out the Wayne Read Trophy with his Snapper weighing in at 5.18Kg. We had Zoe from Thunderbird taking out the Junior Prize. Zoe won a fishing charter for herself and father this prize was kindly donated by Melbourne Fishing Charters, Who were our October Guest Speaker.
After weigh in we had a BBQ put on by our Recreational Boating Committee and sponsored by Jacksons Marine.
