Stand Up Paddleboarding

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a fast growing water sport suitable for participants of varying ages and physical capability. SYC has 12 Stand Up Paddle boards (SUP) suitable for beginner to intermediate use for participants of varying ages and physical capability. The boards are available for use by SYC members at no cost.

Additionally the boards shall be available for use by Day Pass holders when in the company of a senior SYC member.

The Boating Office administers the use of the boards via a booking system. Boards shall be allocated according to availability on a “First in, Best Served” basis. Other activities may be considered by request, and should be made to the Boating Office.

The boards are also used as a contingency option for SYC courses for days not suited to sailing.  This usage will be under strict direct supervision at all times and include our Tackers, Junior Dinghy, School groups and Junior Development Squad programs.

To use the boards you will need to fill in the usage form on the right hand side of this page.
