Cruise in Company Summer

Pre-Christmas Cruise

Dates: 10 – 12 December

  • Queenscliff

About this Cruise:

Come spend some time with us at Queenscliff.

After a long and challenging lockdown it’s time to get out and enjoy your boats and to support regional Victoria too. We want to especially call out for those of you who were unable to join us on our ‘short notice’ post-Covid first Cruise of the season to Docklands. Queenscliff is a great destination anytime of the year and you have the option of booking to stay either at QCYC or the Queenscliff Marina.

Come and enjoy the many things to do at Queenscliff. Visit the Maritime Museum, stroll around town checking out the galleries or do some pre-Xmas shopping. Maybe you just want to chillout at QCYC reading a book, exploring Swan Island’s natural features, and observing the local wildlife.

Some of our members will choose to go early and/or stay late to spend some extra time enjoying this beautiful seaside area. For those who prefer to Cruise in Company we will have two planned departures:

  • Friday 10 Dec: briefing at KKC at 09:30, departing at 10:00 am
  • Saturday 11 Dec: briefing at KKC at 09:30, departing at 10:00 am

Most members will be staying at the Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club (QCYC) located on Swan Island which has a complete range of facilities including bathrooms, showers, full kitchen facilities, and an outdoor BBQ area complete with a wood fired pizza oven. It’s a great place to reconnect, to make new friendships and to enjoy the camaraderie of your Cruising in Company friends.

For those of you planning to stay at QCYC please register by 3 December via the QCYC website, click here. For those planning to stay at the Queenscliff Marina please contact them directly.

For those not able to extend their stay we plan to return to SYC on Sunday mid-day after enjoying the camaraderie of Cruising in Company’s second trip of the season and what should be a fun weekend!

We hope to see you all of you out there!
