About this Cruise:
Come join us on our first cruise of the New Year to QCYC. Situated on the shores of Swan Island QCYC is known as a little slice of “Paradise” and is a perennial favorite cruising destination for many of our members.
We plan to depart SYC as a group about 10:00am Friday morning and enjoy a leisurely sail Southward to arrive at QCYC by mid-afternoon. Keep an eye out for Dolphins who often like to accompany us on our cruises. For some of us that may have time available and really enjoy what paradise has to offer you may choose to go down earlier, and maybe stay later too. But for those wanting to Cruise in Company our cruise will depart Friday morning and return to SYC for mid Sunday afternoon.
Some members may choose to stay at the Queenscliff Marina, but please plan to join us for our Friday Social and our Saturday Pizza Dinner.
About QCYC:
QCYC is located is on Swan Island and has a full commercial kitchen, along with fridges, freezer, and dry storage space to store food for registered boats along with dishes and cutlery, bathrooms, laundry and toilet facilities for guest use. There will be plenty of social time as well, including an Australia Day welcome with some shared platters on Friday and we will fire up the Wood Fired Pizza oven for a group dinner on Saturday. Maybe plan to take in some of what Queenscliff has to offer on Saturday, or just relax and explore QCYC and Swan Island a bit.
Note: Your only access to Queenscliff from QCYC is by dinghy, or car as it is not permissible to walk to the Queenscliff from QCYC.

- NOTE: If the skipper is not a member with a boat on register, please select booking type as a Kindred Club to receive the SYC Cruising in Company preferred rate of $25/night
