Sandringham Yacht Club invites you to participate in the Youth and Junior Development & Coaching Program for the 2016-2017 Season.
This program is generously subsidised by the Yacht Club and is offered to all members at a very reasonable cost. Participation in Club racing is extremely important and as a squad member you are expected to participate in Club racing once you reach an appropriate level of skill, in order to ensure your ongoing inclusion in the squad.
We would like to encourage all SYC Junior and Intermediate sailors to take up this terrific opportunity, which is open to 29er and International 420 Classes.

- Friday 7 October, 5:00 pm (Twilight)
- Sunday 9 October, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Friday 21 October, 5:00 pm (Twilight)
- Sunday 23 October, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Friday 4 November, 5:00 pm (Twilight)
- Sunday 6 November, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Friday 11 November, 5:00 pm (Twilight)
- Sunday 13 November, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Friday 18 November, 5:00 pm (Twilight)
- Sunday 20 November, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Friday 25 November, 5:00 pm (Twilight)

Please note:
All JDS International Optimist, International Cadet/O’pen Bic, 420 and 29er participants are expected to attend the compulsory pre-season race briefing on Sunday 2nd October at 11 am.
Requirements:
- Completed entry form and payment of fees by 16th September 2016.
- Attend the boat tuning and set up day on Sunday 18th September at 11 am.
- A seaworthy boat & appropriate clothing & safety gear. Including sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, sailing shoes or boots and your lifejacket.
- A notebook & pen for onshore coaching, rules discussions etc.
- A real desire to improve your sailing skills and have fun doing it!
- IMPORTANT: Be rigged and ready by commencement time of each session.
- Crews must also complete their own Application online.
