WOW! What an amazing afternoon 120 members and their guests had on Sunday 8 September when SYC Social presented, Normie Rowe and The Playboys. From start to finish the day was fabulous and a rollercoaster of emotions. Normie had us laughing at his stories, bopping in our chairs to most songs, up on our feet for his rendition of Que Sera Sera and our eyes welling up with tears when he sang two heartfelt songs about his time in Vietnam and his rendition of Bring him home from Les Miserables. To say the very least, we were extremely lucky to have been in the presence of and being sung to by the first ever King of Pop and a genuine nice bloke in such an intimate setting.
