Melbourne to Hobart Results

SYC would like to congratulate all yachts and their crews that competed in the Melbourne to Hobart Westcoast.

All boats has a few difficult days with plenty of different sailing conditions, with wind spreads caring from 0 to 40 knots, this made for lots of sail changes.

With two boats representing SYC in the double handed division, Lord Jiminy and Double Trouble. We would like to commend them on their efforts, it’s a difficult race even when you have a full crew, you could only imagine how different it would be doing it double handed.

We would like to congratulate the following boats on their podium finishes:

• Lord Jiminy – Chris Barlow and Jamie Christintian – 2nd place line honours, 2nd place PHS, 1st place double handed division
• Double Trouble – Jordan Sunkel-Lozell – 2nd place IRC, 3rd place AMS, 2nd place double handed division.
