On Sunday 23 March 2025, SYC hosted another fantastic Just Cruisin’ Car Show, with around 46 stunning vehicles on display it was sure the making for a memorable day!
Some of the highlights included the winning late-model Aston Martin, a 1971 Citroen Maserati, a 1938 Rolls Royce, and a striking late-model Rolls Royce Phantom.
The People’s Choice award went to the late-model Aston Martin, owned by Ian Frankhanel. Ian’s name will be engraved on the new Perpetual Trophy, generously donated by Milton Green.
Runners-up included the World War II Jeep owned by JP Macquet and the stunning 1925 Bugatti Type 22 by Philip MacWhirter. The top three winners received MBB caps and a lovely bottle of Robert Oatley wine, while all participants were presented with a MBB glass.
Sarah MacLaine and Tony Bafunno did an exceptional job providing entertainment throughout the event.
Our fantastic MC, John Neville, kept things lively and even interviewed several car owners, adding a personal touch to the day.
A big thank you to our dedicated team of volunteers, led by Susan Tuma, head of Social Committee, whose hard work was essential in making this event such a success!
