Come to Melbourne for the Worlds and experience life down under!

Sandringham Yacht Club is an iconic club, it’s located right on the water (’The Bay’) with a stunning club house featuring a bay-facing members bar and lounge, function rooms, fully catered restaurant style meals and regular musical entertainment from some of Australia’s best musicians, we’ll guarantee you a great time ! If that isn’t enough, there is so much more to see in Melbourne, one of the worlds ‘restaurant cities’ with a vibrant music, entertainment and sports culture. Lose yourself among bars and boutiques, galleries and street art, high end restaurants and ‘hole in the wall’ cafes in Melbourne’s famous laneways. Melbourne has more than 3,500 restaurants and serves up cuisines from more than 70 countries. It’s the coffee capital of Australia, (not many cities take their coffee as seriously as Melbourne does), importing an average of 30 tonnes of coffee beans a day. Melbourne loves beer almost as much as it loves coffee. A hops-lover’s heaven, bubbling with micro breweries and craft breweries that have bloomed into winning brew pubs. Beer lovers … Melbourne has you covered. Victoria is also home to 21 different wine regions, and more than 699 wineries, many right on Melbourne’s doorstep. Discover the diversity and beauty of regional Victoria, from world-class wineries to natural springs, coastal villages, peninsulas and alpine towns. Drive one of the many scenic roads, pull on your walking bootsand follow tracks and trails, or wander shops and produce markets. It’s no coincidence the Worlds have been organised to align with the famous Melbourne Cup Racing Carnival “The race that stops the nation”, it takes place in Melbourne on the first Tuesday of November, and we’ve allowed for that with a spare day for those that want to go. With live music performances, fashions in the field, casual seating as well as premium dinning and hospitality. Melbourne, voted “the most liveable city in the world” 7 times. Isn’t it time you came and experienced it for yourself? Check out: www.visitvictoria.com
