Epigen J/24 World Championship Melbourne 2026

Sandringham Yacht Club, your host for the Epigen J/24 World Championships in November 2026, is located approximately 15km (9 miles) south-east of the Melbourne CBD in the state of Victoria. Australia. With a proud 111-year history, Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC) is one of the finest yacht clubs in Australia and the premier keelboat club in Victoria. The club has a permanent fleet of J/24s that live on the hardstand area with two cranes to provide easy accessibility. The racecourse is typically set adjacent to SYC so that members and guests can watch the racing from the clubhouse. Learn more about SYC here.

Regatta schedule

  • Pre-Worlds – two day Regatta:
    • 31 October – 1 November.
  • Epigen J/24 World Championships
    • Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 November – Registration and Measurement, with an Invitation Race on the Friday afternoon.
    • Saturday 7 – Wednesday 11 November – Championship racing on Port Phillip right in front of the yacht club with a focus on hard racing and a great Aussie style social scene to match.
