Based on the current regulations, the following will set out and guide how we will operate our F&B outlets here at SYC.
– Our outlets will continue to be for Members and Members guests only. We will welcome kindred and reciprocal visitors.
SYC Food & beverage outlets – based on the 4m2 density rule, room capacities are as follows;
– Members Bar 20 / Members Lounge 20 / Harbour View 20 / Olympic Room 16 and / PPR North 20 and PPR South 20
– A max of 10 patrons per table
– Alcohol can be served without a meal when seated
i. Members can pop in for a drink only, and they can do so anytime including in-between kitchen hours. So for this reason we will currently remain open throughout the day
ii. If Members wish to have drinks before, or after their meals, they can do so without any COVID restrictions but normal liquor licencing conditions and RSA rules apply
– There is no strict time window for each sitting
– Transactional orders will be taken at the counter (or till) with food & beverage served to the table
– Our food offering will continue to be one standard limited menu accompanied by specials
– We encourage bookings (via 9599 0999) and rooms will be filled in the above sequence. Walk-ins will be accommodated if possible. We will require the full name and phone number of each person attending
– We will open daily at 12 with lunch bookings from noon and dinner 5.30pm. For the time being we will continue to trade 7 days per week
– Payment will continue to be card or Members key only
– To further minimise touch points, we will continue to leave internal doors open
– There will be a minimum of 1.5m of space in between tables
Also the Ken King Centre will continue to trade daily. We will continue to sell frozen meals and the limited quantity of basic hot food. The limited bar menu will continue to be offered and we will continue to have the max no. of tables and chairs (20).
Events – we will not be taking larger event bookings under the current restrictions. Any private event inquiries are to be directed to [email protected].
