Another great SYC podcast is online, we have more clarity around the easing of boating restrictions, Dan Andrews maps out a staged plan for food and beverage venues to re-open and a great video has come through on Patriots Rolex Sydney to Hobart success…here’s the detail;
1) Podcast #8: has been released with an excitable George and Deeksy talking matters education. We hear from retired British Navy captain John Hollidge, Martin Bean from RMIT, researcher Maria Vasardani and Tony White has an amazing shark ‘show & tell’ tale. David McCutcheon, James Sly, Eddie & Robyn Ragauskas and Graham Furness also dial in – listen here

3) Food & Beverage Restrictions to be eased – Yesterday the Premier Dan Andrews announced a plan to reopen food and beverage venues in a staged approach from 1 June. We are pretty excited about the prospect of re-opening & the opportunities this presents. Based on the regulations, it’s clear we will have an offer that’s pretty different from before in what we are able to do with our different rooms, their layout, the service model to ensure compliance and the menu offerings. So in the lead up to 1 June, we are going to work out exactly what it all means and how we can best deliver a meaningful offer to you in a financially viable way. So I will engage with industry to get the detail behind the detail, and I will be back in touch prior to this date with an update
4) Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race – Patriot 2019 – SYC Member Jason Close saw no alternative but to come back for the 75th Sydney to Hobart race in 2019 after Patriot broke her rudder and retired from the 2018 race.
