Club Marine unveils Member Rewards Program

Friday, 3rd August 2018

Club Marine has announced the launch of its exciting new Member Rewards Program, which is aimed at delivering exclusive benefits to its members via special discounts and other offers provided by a list of prominent marine businesses.

Speaking at the official launch of the Club Marine Member Rewards Program at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show, Club Marine CEO, Simon McLean said Australia’s largest recreational boat insurer had selected a range of premium program partners to deliver the best possible outcome for members.

“Club Marine Member Rewards has been a long time in development, with our hard-working Brand and Marketing team putting a lot of effort into the program to ensure members have a broad range of products and services – and associated discounts and special offers — to choose from to enhance their boating lifestyles,” he said.

“Our Member Rewards Program partners have been selected to appeal to all our members, whether they’re into sailing, fishing, cruising, jetskiing or wakeboarding. This is a first for a marine insurer in Australia in terms of the size and scope of the program as we strive to deliver five-star value and benefits for our members.”

Initial program partners include Compleat Angler, Henri Lloyd, Hamilton Island, Musto, Big4, Australian Marine Wholesale, Barz Optics, Zhik, Jetpilot and Boat Shoes Online.

Club Marine is committed to growing its partner program with more exclusive discounts and other offers being added over time.

Members will automatically be enrolled in the Rewards Program upon purchasing Club Marine insurance and will receive the full value of the program immediately, with no points to collect or tiers to climb.

Benefits will take the form of special and exclusive discounts or value-adds.

“Our Member Rewards Program is part of our broader aim to extend the benefits our members enjoy when they sign up with Club Marine,” added McLean. “The launch of Member Rewards follows other recent initiatives, including the launch of our Social Media program, the Club Marine App, Club Marine Assist, our monthly eDM Club Marine eNews and our growing range of informative and educational videos on Club Marine TV.

“And we’ve also strived to improve the member experience when accessing our insurance services, with a particular emphasis on streamlining our Claims processes.”

The launch of Club Marine’s Member Rewards Program coincides with another milestone for the company with the recent announcement that Club Marine has been recognised for its innovation by being listed in the Australian Financial Review’s annual Most Innovative Companies list for 2018.

The list ranks the most innovative organisations in Australia and New Zealand and is the only national cross-industry list of its kind. Out of the 1000 companies chosen, Club Marine was ranked within the top 100. According to the judges, companies on the list have earned their position as leading innovators within their respective industries.

“On behalf of everyone at Club Marine, I’m proud that we’ve been recognised for the many new initiatives we’ve implemented as we strive to improve our membership experience,” said Simon McLean.
