| 1963 | Astelot was the first all fiberglass yacht of this size in Australia. The fiberglass hull was built by Tyler Boat Co and fitted out by Southern Ocean Shipyards in England prior to being shipped to Australia in 1963 complete with sails and rigging. |
| 1964 | Astelot was first yacht out of Sydney Heads in 1964 but retired with rigging damage near Port Arthur. She sailed on to Hobart next day under jury rig. |
