On Sunday 25 August, the Sandy Point Half Marathon will be taking place. As a result, there will be a Beach Road closure between Charman Road, Beaumaris and Dendy Street, Brighton between the times of 5am to 11.30am.
As such, access to SYC will only be available through Georgiana Street.
On Sunday, there will be a reasonable amount of traffic as there is Sunday Sailors and One Design racing, SYCBA courses and OTB training. All members and guests who require access to SYC on Sunday morning are encouraged to:
- Allow extra time to get to SYC if travelling by car (minimum 30 minutes in peak times).
- Consider car pooling.
- Park in the surrounding streets and walk to the Club
- Ride or walk to SYC if you live locally
