On a hazy spring day this race turned out to be the quickest of the spring. It ended when the last of the 33 yacht fleet crossed the finish line at 15:54:18. The breeze was a big help averaging about 16 knots for the afternoon predominately from the south south west. This turned the 9.7 nautical mile course 23 into a running and reaching course with few, if any tacks needed to lay the marks.
