Notice of Election and Notice of Annual General Meeting
A reminder the Sandringham Yacht Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is coming up and we would like to extend an invitation for all SYC Members to join us.
It will be held on Tuesday 21 September 2021 at 19:30hrs online via zoom. All members have been forwarded the link. Please join us for an update on Club matters including our financial position. The duration of the meeting is expected to be less than 60 minutes.
Agenda and Election Results – as the meeting is to be conducted via zoom, the agenda has been kept to a minimum but still includes the usual reports from the Commodore, Treasurer and CEO. As part of our General Committee planning and in line with the Constitution, five (5) Members were elected unopposed for the positions of Ordinary General Committee Members of the Club for a term of two (2) years.

SYC Annual Report 2020/21 – from Tuesday 14 September the SYC Annual Report for 2020/21 will be available to download in the Members section of the website. For completeness you will also be able to access the SYC Foundation Annual Report 2020/21.
Motions – we will be seeking your approval of the OGM 2021 minutes, annual accounts, appointment of Foundation trustees and the auditor for 2021/22. All members with voting privileges will receive a voting email on Tuesday 14 September outlining the process. It’s very straight forward and there is nothing out of the ordinary being put to the meeting.
General Business – in a bid to run an orderly and efficient meeting, it would be appreciated if you could submit any general business to me [email protected] at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and we will endeavour to respond beforehand.
If you haven’t used Zoom before and would like some help, please let me know. We are happy to assist well in advance to ensure you have no access issues on the night and a reminder the meeting link will open 15 minutes prior to the meeting.
