Our SYC Optimist fleet have been representing our club at the 2017 Optimist Nationals in Largs Bay Sailing Club in SA. SYC had a great team with 10 sailors participating and enjoying their boats in fantastic sailing conditions. For many this was their first Nationals and it was a fantastic experience and they have all met so many new sailing friends.
Congratulations to Matty Goss (Assassin) & Phillip Cripsey (Puddle Jumper) on your fantastic results in Open Fleet and selection for the Australian under 12’s team and their tour to New Caledonia later this year.
