It was something of a relief to see race 8 get underway particular after the first scheduled race for 2016 was abandoned due to strong winds (averaged over 25 knots). So far the series has been a battle against the breeze, with 2 races abandoned resulting from strong winds and 5 races shortened due to light breezes.
